The “Big Man’s” brand identity is built in honor of the late, great Clarence Clemons – a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member who remains loved the world over.

On July 11, 1981, at 129 Monmouth Street in Red Bank, NJ: Clarence Clemons opened his beloved BIG MAN'S WEST bar & night club. It was a dream come true for The Big Man. Leading his house band, Clarence Clemons and The Red Bank Rockers, The Big Man enjoyed being among his friends, family, musician family; and of course, hosting legendary spontaneous band jams that inspired the soul of all who were there.
Clarence loved showcasing local Jersey Shore bands as well as hosting many national acts, and big name musician friends. It was a magical place where the magic was always part of the vibe, and the spirit of The Big Man soared.

Clarence Clemons and the Red Bank Rockers...
Hosted many big acts at the bar, and his many musician friends would come hang out and jam regularly. Along with his support for local Jersey Shore bands Clarence helped breathe new life into the early 1980s Jersey Shore music scene.
He served a lot of Beer...
Clarence developed an interest in the art of craft Beer Brewing . Big Man's Brew is a continuation of that passion and spirit.
